Francesca Cianficconi graduated in Architecture at University of Rome “La Sapienza” in October 1999. Since 2000 she is a member of the Rome’s National Registered Architect Association. Since 2000 she entered the Yachting World thanks to her unforgettable experience with Walter Franchini, thanks to which she has been the Project Manager of the 68.5 mt MY LADY ANNE for Amels shipyard (Makkum, Holland) : this boat won the SHOWBOAT AWARD Oustanding achievement in Motor Yachts for 2006 on 21st June 2007 ; for Ancona ISA shipyard: 470.01, April fool and 470.02 Ellix too. She was also in charge of other projects: restructuring of the FIAT head office in Rome (Palazzo Orsini) and the renewal of Lord Byron Hotel (Rome) and Villa Miani. (Rome). In 2007, after various collaborations with the greatest professionals in the sector, such as Luca Dini and Francesco Paszkowsky and some experience as a journalist for the most popular nautical magazine of the moment, ‘Yacht Design’ magazine (two articles were published in n°5/2006 and n°6/2006 issues), as an external consultant, she became the Interior Design Manager at CNL- Cantieri Navali Lavagna-Admiral where she managed various orders – e.g. the 40 mt megayacht AQUA ( award for the Best Boat of the year 2008 at Genova Showboat for the magazine ”Vela e Motore” ) until 2010 when she decided to create her own studio in charge of Architecture and Interior Design for residentials, luxury apartments and yachts. During these years she is having several important collaborations with Italian and foreign Shipyards and various professionals in the sector, as well as giving birth to Taiba , a 57 mt Columbus Yacht by Cantieri Palumbo that was a finalist at The World Superyacht Awards 2016 for Interior Design in the precious setting of Palazzo Vecchio Firenze, and many other projects in progress. Since 2017 she also teaches Interior Design at the Quasar Institute, in Rome , in the Postgraduate Master of Yacht Design.
